McKinnon Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals
In this module, students will study the plight suffered by many animals around the world and examine the ways in which human societies use animals for their own purposes. Discussions will focus on animal welfare vs animal rights, and various people and organisations that have worked to preserve and uphold animal welfare will be investigated (for example the RSPCA and WWF). Students will work together to coordinate a project designed to actively assist the fight against animal cruelty.
